The company provides the tools businesses need to create, manage, secure, deliver and measure the success of their videos. Their innovative solutions release the power in video to engage and empower employees, partners and clients through the sale of software licenses, software on a server appliance, software- enabled devices, and a cloud- based software-as-a-service platform.

With a heritage rooted in the US, where the business lease culture is deeply ingrained, Qumu were well aware of the benefits of using leasing to fund their UK head of office expansion.

Following a period of rapid UK business growth, they were keen to remodel their existing space and continue the theme to a newly acquired floor. They wanted an open-plan layout with lots of exible space that will evolve with the business.

Their lease included furniture, lighting and partitioning to create break out areas and designated zones within the space. Staff wellbeing is maximised with creative breakout areas including a calm natural rest room with grass partitioning and London landscape themed telephone booths for private or informal meetings. In addition it included a fully- fitted staff kitchen.

A cash rich company, Qumu opted to lease the fitout rather than pay the cost upfront in order to manage costs and protect cash flow.
