Adele and Dan, the talented mother and son duo behind the successful country pub, The Talbot at Belbroughton, have built a strong reputation for warm hospitality and great food. Nestled in the Worcestershire countryside, The Talbot is renowned for its relaxed atmosphere, cosy interiors, and exceptional à la carte dining. Keen to build on their success, the pair were looking to expand their hospitality portfolio with a second local venue. Their attention soon turned to The Woodman at Clent, a charming former coaching inn near Stourbridge, with a history dating back to the 1800s. While the building’s exterior retained its heritage charm, the interior was in need of a complete overhaul. Adele and Dan acquired the lease with the intention of carrying out a full refurbishment, transforming the tired décor into a warm and stylish country pub setting that matched the building’s impressive facade.
